	Performing Arts Exchange Georgia Council for the Arts Showcase (open to conference attendees only) Wednesday, September 24, 2008 CORE will perform an excerpt from one of the pieces in THREE as part of the GCA Showcase at the opening day of the Performing Arts Exhchange conference presented by the Southern Arts Federation.
	Fieldwork Workshop for Artists Mondays beginning September 29, 2008 Time and place TBA Independent Artists, Innovative Art: artists in all disciplines are welcome to participate in the Fieldwork workshop to grow their work in weekly facilitated workshops where they receive feedback from their peers. Culminates after ten weekly meetings in a showcase performance open to the public.

	Flamenclorico: Lore of the Miners Co-promotion with the Rialto Center for the Arts Saturday, October 4, 2008, 8 p.m. A "choreodrama" with live flamenco music and dance telling a story of miners' lives in a time when the profession was dangerous and often deadly. 	Salon with Nina Martin Thursday, October 9, 2008, 7 p.m. Several Dancers Core studios Free Meet guest choreographer, Nina Martin, and view excerpts from her new work with the company that will be the final section of the triptych of dances known collectively as THREE, by acclaimed women dance-makers.
	Paul Taylor Dance Company Co-promotion with the Rialto Center for the Arts Saturday, November 15, 2008, 8 p.m. After 53 years, Paul Taylor continues to craft contemporary dance with wit drawing from a wide variety of sources for inspiration. 	Lunchtime in the Studio Friday, December 5, 2008, noon- 1 p.m. Several Dancers Core studios, Free lunch and performance “Artist as Educator--CORE shows Weaving the World into Flower” CORE Performance Company will discuss their outreach work performing and giving workshops in the schools, and will show part of their school show "Weaving the World into Flower," which is based on the full-length work Corazon Abriendo (Heart Opening).
