Taking inspiration from visual art and dance sources, as well as the site of Memorial Park itself, CORE Performance Company will astonish festival goers with the world premiere of "Point, well taken..." at the 2010 Bayou City Art Festival Memorial Park. Performed in four distinct sites throughout the festival grounds, this new work by CORE Performance Company reflects the dreamlike environments of featured festival artist Vic Lee juxtaposed with a physically demanding movement style. Explosive jumping, rapid turning, and intricate partnering make this site-specific premiere a must-see for all festival-goers.
